About Us

Home Shared Home is a non-profit organization created to empower older adults in Southern Nevada to live independently and comfortably by providing shared housing and services. We provide shared living arrangements for seniors looking for affordable lifestyle who want to live smarter by spending less time and money in house maintenance, using technology and universal design to improve safety and comfort while enhancing social connections. Living with housemates instead of living alone will enrich their lives by cutting home expenses, boosting their social networks and increasing their safety support system. 

With the rapid increase of the baby boom population, our nonprofit provides a much needed housing option that meets their specific needs. Home sharing is an increasingly important component in the quest to use existing housing stock more efficiently. It expediently creates more affordable room rental options, while at the same time addressing increasing social and psychological crises in our rapidly aging society.

As a non-profit,  our mission also includes funding temporary shared housing for children with cancer while they are receiving treatment. Through portion of our income and donations from the public, we are able to financially help an organization in the Philippines that provides shelter to families while they travel far from home to receive medical care for their child.
